Originally from Holland, the Thrianta breed is a brilliant scarlet/orange rabbit that catches the eye. They have a fawn color under its paws and tail, with soft, dense fur medium in length. It’s a small and compact breed, weighing between 5-6 lbs. Thriantas were only accepted in the U.S. in 2006.
They have a red color all around and their ears are straight and upright. They were kept by the Dutch royal family which was known as “The House of Orange”. They resemble the shape and size of Chinchilla and Lilac rabbits with a rollback coat. Their nickname is “The Fire of the Fancy”.
