A small fancy breed, the Tan rabbit is used for show worldwide but originate in England. A fully grown rabbit of the breed weight between 4-6 lbs.
Tan rabbits have four color varieties: black, blue, chocolate and lilac. They have unique markings consistent in the four varieties of colors which consist of their tan colorations which is an intense deep red color even from the chest to the tail.
These rabbits are active, needing regular exercise and a steady diet mainly of grass hay and some pellets. They require small housing but need ventilation and must never be left to roam an area without attending, especially young hyperactive bunnies.
