netherland-dwarf-rabbitThe Netherland Dwarf is the smallest of the dwarf breeds with a fully grown weight that can range from 1.5lb to 2.6lb. They have a small compact body, short neck and a compact broad head with curved profile and a rounded face. The Netherland Dwarf's head and eyes are disproportionately large with respect to its body, (due to genetic dwarfism) and its ears are small and carried high on the head and are about 5cm in length.

Netherland Dwarfs exist in an extensive variety of colors, including Himalayan, Black, Blue, Chocolate, Lilac, Smoke Pearl, and many more. The coat is short and soft.

The Netherland Dwarf is a gentle, curious, pet and if handled correctly and often, they will enjoy human companionship. The life span on average is 7 to 10 years.

We always strongly encourage you to thoroughly check out each animal breeder you are interested in purchasing from before you make your final decision. With over 25,000 different breeders listed on this website, it is impossible for us to be able to vouch for every one! And while we do our best to ensure only the top farmers are listed here, it's always best to double check yourself.
