The Buffalo is a species of mammal that is often domesticated for their milk and meat production. Buffalo is also highly sought after for the manufacturing of leather products. Since they are herbivores, their diet consists of mainly grass and other plants. They are found in herds within their natural habitats of woodlands and pasturelands.

There are multiple times of Buffalo, each from a different part of the world. The specific traits and temperaments vary between the types. The largest type of Buffalo is the Water Buffalo, which is found in Asia and can be wild or domesticated. The African Buffalo is an aggressive and violent animal which has never been domesticated. American Buffalo is also referred to as Bison. Larger than its American counterpart, the European Buffalo is also closely related to the Bison.
