The Lilac rabbit, as you might guess, only comes in one color: lilac. Their whole body is this color except the white undersides of their paws. Their eyes are a pale bluish gray that matches their fur. They are a medium sized breed weighing between 6 and 8 pounds at maturity. Their ears are about 3 1/2 - 4 inches long and are held upright. Their fur is about 1 inch long and is very pleasantly soft to the touch.
Lilacs have sweet natured personalities. They enjoy being petted, exploring, and playing games in a play-fence in the yard and frolicking around in the clover.
The American Livestock Breeds Conservancy places the breed at "watch" status because their global population is less than 2,000.
