There is a subtype called the American Azteca.
The Azteca males reach a height between 15 to 16.1 hands, females 14.3 to 16 hands. It has a lean head, elegant and aristocratic with a convex, straight profile. The Aztec’s legs are well-muscled and the feet are hard and well-proportioned. You can find them in all solid colors but grey is most prevalent. White markings are sometimes present.
