The Satin Angora is a cross between the Satin and the French Angora. They are very similar to the French Angora but the Satin is slightly smaller, weighing between 6.6 - 10 lbs.
Like other Angora rabbits, it has very soft wool of a silky texture. The color of the rabbit is determined by the color of its head, feet and tail. Their sheen is hard to see in the wool, the best place to look for it is in the rabbit’s head and ears where it is dense and short. If the rabbit is not brushed regularly, it will become terribly matted and can develop the wool block.
Satin Angoras are active, playful, and sociable, with lots of personality. They enjoy human attention and companionship, as well as the companionship of other rabbits; they also enjoy playing with toys.
